Ferrets...Naturally!
Naturally the Best!
Ferrets...Naturally breeding ferrets have been selected for robust health - ferrets which are "easy keepers" (maintain good weight without special supplements or feedings), ferrets with strong immune sytems, ferrets which have good reproductive health and ferrets which are free of white markings in their pedigree. Ferrets...Naturally does not breed for huge size, big heads, angoras, odd markings or any physical extreme. Instead, we focus on breeding ferrets which are as close to wild polecats as possible - black/dark sables with full pigmentation and a moderate build.

Ferrets...Naturally is also developing a line of chocolate, cinnamon, champagne and albino ferrets without white markings. This line will be bred to the sable line regularly, so the availability of these colors will be fairly limited each year.

In addition to the selection of healthy breeding ferrets, Ferrets...Naturally uses natural rearing practices with all both kits and adults. All ferrets are fed a natural, raw diet and vaccinated minimally, if at all. Kits are not exposed to the stress of early altering, forced weaning, early shipping or extended periods of light/lack of dark places to sleep.  We feel this gives our ferrets the absolute best chance at good long term health, especially for owners who are willing to continue with natural care.

Ferrets...Naturally backs the health of our ferrets with an unrivaled Health Guarantee.

Breeding ferrets at Ferrets....Naturally are selected for unique temperaments. Temperament is extremely important, as the breeding ferrets here are also pets. Temperament selected for in breeding ferrets includes above average intelligence, outgoing nature, willingness to easily bond to humans and ability to get along with other ferrets within reason.

Kits are handled early and often which further develops a desire to bond to people. To prepare for their new homes, kits are also started with nip training and litterbox use starting at an early age.
